GOP Lobbyist with City of DeKalb Kathryn Rice at the State Capitol in 2018

City of DeKalb former lobbyist has Allegations That GOP Lawyer Served as Fake Electors in 2020 Referred to Georgia Disciplinary Board

Brad Carver served as the lobbyist for City of DeKalb while it was using the Greenhaven and Concerned Citizen for Cityhood of South DeKalb name. It is not known at this time, if while he was attempting to serve as a fake Elector in 2020, if he was still working for City of DeKalb and Kathryn Rice. It is alleged that Brad Carver was part of an attempt by Georgia citizens to help former President Trump overturn the Georgia Presidential election results in 2020.

According to Law.com’s Daily Report on July 26, 2022 “the State Bar of Georgia confirmed that two Republican lawyers have been referred to the Georgia State Disciplinary Board for allegedly posing as fake electors during the 2020 Presidential Election, as reported by The Atlanta-Journal Constitution.

Brad Carver of Atlanta and Daryl R. Moody of Alpharetta were reportedly notified that, on July 15, complaints made against them by The 65 Project have been moved to a bar investigation.  The 65 Project is a nonprofit watchdog that seeks to “protect democracy from the threat posed through abuse of the legal system,” dealing specifically with lawsuits attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

Carver and Moody are just two of 16 Georgia Republicans who served as electors for then-President Donald Trump in 2020 and are now under investigation by the U.S. Justice Department and the House January 6 Committee.”

Below are a few photos of Brad Carver with Kathryn Rice of City of DeKalb, formerly Greenhaven and Concerned Citizens for the Cityhood of South DeKalb between 2016-2018.

The concern is that if City of DeKalb and Kathryn Rice are using people who have attempted to overthrow our elections, what tactics would they use if they were given the chance to govern.
