Greenhaven Update Meeting held Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at DeKalb County Police South Precinct, 2842 H F Shepherd Dr, Decatur, GA 30034. Thanks to Howard Mosby and Bee Nguyen for updating Gresham Hills Neighborhood Association. Their were many in attendance from Neighbors Against Greenhaven. In fact, the room was 99% against Greenhaven. Follow N.A.G. on Facebook
Thanks to Concerned Citizens against Cityhood in Dekalb for presenting us with where Greenhaven Now and Kathryn Rice are receiving monies to pay for their lobbyist. It appears we were correct in our assumption that is was CHM2Hill.
They are all heavily connected through John and Cynthia Garst of CPS Strategies, Hall Booth Smith and CHM2Hill. All of that money trickles down and Greenhaven doesn’t have to report it because they aren’t receiving the money directly.
This same formula was successfully implemented for Stonecrest.
Let your voice be heard. Send an email and tell State Representative that you do not support the creation of the city of Greenhaven. See links below for other relevant information.

Me and my husband live in the 30034 area. We are opposed to the City Of Greenhaven. We like our Country living in the Metro area, plus we are near I-20 and I-285. I am very opposed, due to the fact that we have to become and City to get more nice restaurants and outlets shops in our neighborhood. Even though, these things are not in our neighborhood we are still thriving without all of the nice restaurants and shops. I notice that every time a part of Dekalb becomes a city, i.e., City of Lithonia and City of Stonecrest. I don’t see any improvement of high class restaurants and shops. I see the same thing, as a mater of fact, they closed Sam’s without giving even their own employees any notices. Why do we need that same stupid promises that the ones for the city, don’t deliver. They don’t even live in our neighborhood. Making stupid decision for their gain. I will rally, anytime to keep our DECATUR city the way it IS. COIUNTRY IN THE METRO AREA. NO NEED FOR ANYMORE BUILDING. WE NEED TO KEEP OUR TREES.
